A quick guide to downloading your own LinkedIn data so it can be imported here — your profile, experience, connections, endorsements, and (with the larger export) your posts and their performance.
1. Request your archive
- On LinkedIn, click Me (top-right avatar) → Settings & Privacy.
- Open Data Privacy → Get a copy of your data.
- Choose one:
- Download larger data archive — everything LinkedIn holds: profile, connections, messages, and your posts / shares + engagement. Recommended.
- Or tick specific files (Profile, Connections, Shares, …) for a smaller, faster export.
- Click Request archive and confirm your password.
2. Wait for the email
| Archive | Contents | Ready in |
|---|---|---|
| Fast / basic | Profile, connections, skills, endorsements, messages | ~10 minutes |
| Complete | All of the above + posts, shares and impression/reaction analytics | up to 24 hours |
📌 Posts and their performance metrics (impressions, reactions, comments) are only in the complete archive — the fast one does not include them. If you want post analytics, pick the larger archive.
LinkedIn emails you a download link when the archive is ready.
3. Send it over
Download the .zip LinkedIn gives you and hand it to Roland (or upload it here). It gets imported into your profile in this space — experience, skills, connections, and (from the complete export) your posts and how each one performed.
