Arrange your apps in groups
The Apps grid on your home page used to have one order — most recently used first — and no sections. It now works the way a phone's home screen does.
- Drag a tile to move it. Drop it between two others to reorder, onto a group's heading to move it into that group, or onto New group at the end to start a group of your own — you are asked for its name.
- Rename a group from its heading. A group exists as long as at least one app is in it.
- New apps are grouped for you: an app you install from the Store lands in a group named after its Store category (Productivity, Operations, …). Apps you have never placed keep the familiar most-recently-used order behind the ones you have.
The arrangement is yours alone — it is stored on your own installed-app records, so nothing you do here changes anyone else's home, and it follows you to every device you sign in on.
This is the platform half of a change that completes in the packages themselves (MeshWeaver.Plugins): the Apps dropdown that briefly appeared in the top bar is retired there, and the packages it listed — Providers & Models, Approvals, Feedback, Courses and Tours — become ordinary apps on your grid, installed and arranged like every other one.
