Apps grid becomes a true phone home

The Apps tab on your home now looks the way it was meant to: a phone-style grid of rounded app icons with their names beneath, painted instantly from your installed-app records — no more generic content cards and no more waiting for each tile to load. Tapping an icon opens the app itself.

Shared with me moved out of the tabs into its own section below the search, so invitations from other workspaces read as what they are instead of another catalog view. The Threads app on the grid replaces the old open-threads band on the default home page.

Under the hood, the home no longer re-attempts creating app records that already exist on every visit — the storm that made the page feel sluggish — and existing records with placeholder icons heal themselves with the app's real icon. Names you've given your apps stay exactly as you set them.
